A new update has been released for Cyotek Spriter bringing it to 1.0.7.0.

This update adds a number of features and improvements to Spriter. First among these is the ability to have dynamic effects, that is effects which do not require a source image to be post processed. The first dynamic effect allows you to create text headings in a variety of different styles, such as outlined or glowing text. A new sample project is included demonstrating different combinations of this.

Watched folders have also been "finished off", so that they actually work while Spriter is running. Copy an image into a folder that Spriter is watching and it will be automatically added to the project. Update an existing image and watch it immediately appear in the project.

We've also tidied up the UI, and added a few new commands - such as the ability to duplicate an effect, which ties nicely into the new dynamic text effect, and quicker access to creating new effects of a specific type.

Another new option is the ability to export the individual images of the project, including dynamic images such as effects. This allows you to easily generate individual graphics from a composite source, depending on whether you need a full sprite sheet or just an individual sprite. The command line client has also been updated to support this new functionality.

A new advanced setting has been added allowing you to specify the location of temporary files. For example, if you have a RAM disk you may wish to locate temporary files on this.

There are many more updates, plus a respectable number of bug fixes - grab the latest version now!

Updates have been released for Cyotek WebCopy bringing it to 1.0.5.0 and Cyotek Sitemap Creator bringing it to 1.0.3.0.

These updates bring Sitemap Creator back in line with WebCopy in terms of bug fixes and enhancements to shared components.

In addition, new settings have been added to both products that allow the Accept and Accept-Language headers to be specified, allowing for more control over exactly what content is downloaded.

A new "origin report" option has been added to WebCopy, this new setting generates either a single report or one file per URI that simple details the source URI and content type for downloaded files.

Other changes include the ability to finally view request headers, and these are also saved with the project, and a progress display in the Quick Scan dialog.

A number of bugs have also been squashed, including problems detecting content types with some misbehaving websites, deflate encoding no longer working, and some UI bugs such as occasional crash attempting to order lists. And even more!

A new update has been released for Cyotek Spriter bringing it to 1.0.6.0.

A new experimental "watched folders" feature has been added. This allows you to attach specific folders to your Spriter project, and images in these folders will be automatically included in the project. Useful for if you continuously add new images to a folder. This feature is currently in development and will be further improved over time.

We've also added a command line client. This tool allows you to generate the output of a Spriter project without user interaction; useful for build processes or batch scripts.

Other options have also been added to further customize the application and control the output of CSS templates.

As with most updates, a number of bugs and issues have also been addressed.

Updates have been released for Cyotek WebCopy bringing it to 1.0.3.2 and Cyotek Sitemap Creator bringing it to 1.0.2.2.

These updates offer an even mix of bug fixes and enhancements to both products. Various interface bugs have been corrected, plus some problems combining certain URI values. The colour highlighting of elements has been expanded to include missing/broken links, and a new option for removing missing/broken links has been added, and we'll continue to expand this over time.

For Sitemap Creator, the "differences" (formally known simply as "Missing") tab has also been ported from WebCopy into this product.

WebCopy also includes a fix for attempting to crawl a CSS file that contained unclosed comments, resulting in an eventual crash.

Other tweaks have been made to hopefully identify some hard to pin down crashes that have been reported.
